Lakehurst Residence Mudroom Addition

After years of dreaming of an enlarged kitchen, Revolve Design sat down with the client to really work through her wish list.? What we determined was that rather than enlarging the kitchen, what she needed was a transition zone from the driveway to the interior of the house ? a place for backpacks, muddy shoes, storage, etc.? This transition zone would serve the house best by being adjacent to the kitchen, as well as connecting to the proposed rear deck.? After looking at several design concepts, we decided to move forward with this one, complimenting the existing traditional styling while creating an elegant secondary entrance to the house.
